I was on Carnival Conquest for last weeks sailing (8/17-8/24). In the beginning, I was concerned about how we would be affected by Tropical Fay. Fortunately we weren’t other than a mildly rocky day and night. We passed to the west of Fay like a ship in the night. :-) However Hurricane Gustav appears to be much more formidable and on much the same course as the Conquest forcing the ship to change it’s itenerary. At this point, I am primarily concerned about how the Conquest will return to Galveston on Sunday since it appears Gustav will be approaching the Gulf Coast about the same time. My prayers are with them. I’m very glad I was on last week’s cruise! Jan
