Oceania Cancels Myanmar (Burma) Visit

Oceania R Class ShipOceania Cruises has revised the itinerary for Nautica’s November 18, 2008 “Odyssey to Asia”. Previously scheduled to spend three days in Yangon, Myanmar, the new itinerary now features added overnights in Dubai and Bombay, and has added port calls in Goa and Mangalore in India along with Penang and Port Klang in Malaysia.

“While Myanmar was an eagerly anticipated destination for our guests, the state of affairs after the tragic cyclone has prompted us to seek alternative destinations to replace Yangon,” stated Bob Binder, President of Oceania Cruises.

An additional highlight of this revised itinerary is an extended land tour to the fabled Taj Mahal in India. Details are below and space is limited, so we encourage guests to reserve their space today on this epic excursion.
