Azamara, Celebrity and Royal Caribbean Cruises Combined Tropical Storm Update

Posted by Michael on 10/31/07

Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Cruises continue to closely monitor the path and progress of Tropical Storm Noel to ensure our guests enjoy safe and comfortable cruises, and to make certain our ships steer clear of the storm.

The safety of our guests and crew is always the foremost concern of Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises and Azamara Cruises.

Given Tropical Storm Noel’s location and projected path, Royal Caribbean is currently providing itinerary updates regarding three ships.  Azamara Cruises is currently altering the itinerary of one ship. Celebrity Cruises is not currently altering the itineraries of any ships:

AZAMARA CRUISES

The October 26, sailing of Azamara Quest did not return to Miami as scheduled, October 31. Instead, the ship sailed to the Port of Tampa where it concluded its cruise this morning.  Azamara Cruises is providing complimentary motor coach transportation for debarking guests to return to South Florida.

Guests scheduled on the October 31, sailing of Azamara Quest should still come to the Port of Miami for check-in as planned, Wednesday.  After checking-in, complimentary motor coach transportation will be provided to take guests to the Port of Tampa.  Azamara Quest will not make its scheduled port call in Port Antonio, Jamaica, Thursday; instead, the ship will visit George Town, Cayman Islands, Thursday; and continue its itinerary as scheduled, Friday.  The October 31, sailing of Azamara Quest will conclude at the Port of Miami as scheduled, November 12, 2007.
