Carnival Cruise Lines’ 2,642-passenger Carnival Destiny will operate a new five-port, seven-day itinerary from San Juan featuring a rare overnight call in La Romana/Casa de Campo, along with day-long visits to St. Kitts, Dominica, Barbados and St. Thomas/St. John. The new itinerary begins Jan. 8, 2008. Carnival is currently accepting reservations on the Carnival Destiny’s new five-port, seven-day schedule from San Juan.
Prices begin at $479 per person based on double occupancy. Special discounts for third and fourth guests sailing in the same stateroom, along with round-trip air supplements from a variety of North American gateways are also available.

Five Magnificent Island Destinations
The overnight call in Casa de Campo, at La Romana in the Dominican Republic, provides Carnival Destiny guests with additional opportunities to explore this elegant resort area. Its many attractions include Altos de Chavon, a quaint 16th century Mediterranean village replica offering myriad daytime and evening entertainment options, a wide variety of nightclubs, restaurants and shops, and world-class golfing and beaches. A shore excursion option to Santo Domingo – the country’s historic capital – will be offered as well.

New Ports
“Oceania Cruises has always been known for its destination-intensive itineraries and we are always seeking new and different ports to elevate the experience for our guests,†stated Bob Binder, President of Oceania Cruises.
The new Oceania-Class vessels will set a new standard in culinary excellence, featuring six open-seating gourmet restaurants which boast the capacity to seat 150% of the ship’s guests in a single seating. The magnificent Grand Dining Room will be an opulent space crowned with a magnificent frescoed domed ceiling. The four specialty restaurants will feature the line’s signature Polo Grill and Toscana along with two new specialty dining venues, an elegant French bistro and a Pan-Asian restaurant.
Oceania Cruises has added several new and exciting ports to its already stellar line up of boutique and marquee ports, Haifa, Israel; Pula, Croatia; Alghero, Italy; Tangier, Morocco; and Hamilton, Bermuda.
