Disney Holiday Cruise Details   

The folks at Magical Mountain have published the details of what passengers onboard Disney Magic’s 10 night Holiday Crusie and Disney Wonder’s holiday cruise can expect onboard.

The festivities start from the moment passengers arrive at the Port Canaveral terminal where they’ll be welcomed by Disney characters in their holiday attire, while the terminal itself will be decorated for the holidays as well.

Some of the things that passengers can enjoy onboard:

  • Special Thanksgiving festivities including a Thanksgiving Day meal with all the trimmings, craft actvities and visits by Mickey and Minnie Mouse in Thanksgiving costumes.
  • A 3 deck tall decorated tree in the atrium lobby complete with snow flurries and a tree lighting ceremony.
  • A Christmas Day visit frm Santa Goofy with surprises for all of the children
  • International holiday caroling by crewmembers on the Christmas cruise.
  • Special family time for designing and decorating gingerbread houses
  • A reading of “The Night Before Christmas” by Mrs. Claus
  • Traditional holiday fests in the three dining rooms (Christmas cruise only)
  • Multi-faith and interdominational Holiday services (Christmas and Hanuakkah cruise only)
  • A ship wide part to celebrate 2007 including a New Year’s Day tailgate party.

At Castaway Cay, the island will become a snowy holiday hideaway with snow flurries Christmas trees and carolers.  Mr. and Mrs. Snowman will be sporting shell noses and tropical attire while greeting guests with a sleigh full of presents.  Meanwhile the island tram will have it’s own antlers and tail.
