
More passengers than ever will have the opportunity to view the stunning autumn colors from a Princess ship next year as the line will offer nearly 20 percent more berths on this popular annual route. Crown Princess makes her Canada/New England debut in the region and will be joined by Grand Princess, marking the first time that two of the line’s largest, amenity-filled vessels will sail the northeast coast. In total, the two ships will offer nine departures on three different itineraries. Crown Princess will sail on seven-day roundtrip cruises from New York, while Grand Princess departs on 10-day sailings between New York City and Québec City. Grand Princess will also sail one Canada & Colonial America voyage along the full length of the Atlantic coast. The Canada & New England season will run from September 15 through October 18, 2007.The 3,080-passenger Crown Princess’ debut in the region features a seven-day roundtrip itinerary featuring the best of the northeast. With convenient New York departures from Brooklyn, the itinerary features visits to Halifax (Nova Scotia), Saint John (New Brunswick), Bar Harbor (Maine), Boston and Newport (Rhode Island). The ship sails on five voyages between September 15 and October 13, 2007.Meanwhile, the 2,600-passenger Grand Princess takes over the line’s classic 10-day Canada & New England voyage between New York City and Québec City. The route, which visits Newport, Boston, Bar Harbor, Saint John, Halifax Sydney (Nova Scotia) and Charlottetown (Prince Edward Island), also features an overnight stay in the quaint Québec City. Grand Princess’ three sailings depart between September 18 and October 8, 2007.
In addition, Grand Princess will also offer a special 12-day Canada & Colonial America voyage between Québec City and Ft. Lauderdale. This journey departs on October 18 and features calls at Sydney, Halifax, Bar Harbor, Boston, Newport, New York City, Norfolk (Virginia) and Charleston (South Carolina).
For those who would like to extend their Canada & New England vacation, Princess offers escorted pre- or post-cruise land tours in conjunction with these sailings, in which passengers can travel back through historic America or spend further time in Canada with a complete cruisetour.
Early booking fares for Princess’ Canada & New England sailings begin at $1,095 for Crown Princess seven-day voyages and $1,595 for Grand Princess’ 10-day cruises.
